Mr. John Francis Sostack, age 84, of Resaca, GA, departed this life, Sunday August 30, 2015 at his residence. John was born March 29, 1931 in Jamaica, New York. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene V. Sostack. John was retired from the United States Postal Service and serve his country in the United States Army.
Mr. John Francis Sostack, is survived by his sons, Scott Sostack of Resaca, GA and J. Brian Sostack of Albrightsville, PA; grandchildren, Shaun and Shannon Sostack and daughter-in-law, Deborah Sostack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Clements Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Shaute presiding. Burial will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest by his wife.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, Friday September 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
