Mr. John Obrien, age 51 of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the local hospital. John was born December 23, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Jasmine Obrien and daughter Cheryl Obrien in 2005.

He is survived by his extended family; T.J. Corn and Tonya Welch of Dalton, GA, Glenn and Sandra Corn, Nikki and Eli Fields, Donna Woody, Tracy Hester, Amber Young all of Chatsworth, GA, Felecia Welch, Ethan Arnold, Kathryn Sexton, Kenneth Welch, Janette and Clinton Welch, Bill Redwine, Billy Redwine, Amy Thomason, Vanessa Luffman, Christy and Clint Putnam all of Dalton, GA.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. John Obrien will be held Sunday January 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Sunday.
