Mr. John David "Mac" McCoy Jr., 69, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life March 10, 2020 at his home. He was born March 16, 1950 in Dalton, GA a son of the late John David Sr. and Margaret Sybil Floyd McCoy. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeremy David McCoy.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rhonda Kay Peters McCoy of the residence; brother, Bradley McCoy of Dalton, GA; sisters, Cheryl McCoy, Rebecca and Tim Jones of Dalton, GA, Gloria Campbell of Texas; nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Thursday March 12, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. from the West Hill Cemetery with Brother George Cross officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Hunter Amos, Rene' White, Burton Knighton, Shaun Cheatham Heidi Peters and Zachary Peters will serve as pallbearers.
