Mr. John Henry Maddox, age 47, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1976 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Harold and Brenda Christine Maddox. He was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Maddox, sister, Carrie Ann Maddox.

He is survived by his daughters, Teirra Maddox of Resaca, GA, Hailey Maddox of Georgia, Abby Desha of Ohio; brothers, Michael McEntyre of Calhoun, GA, Jeremy Moss of Dalton, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. John Henry Maddox will be held Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Pastor Jody Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Church with Mike Katcher, Jeremy Moss, Michael McEntyre, Austin Debord, and James Newman honored to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
