Mr. John Rylee Lynthlin, age 18, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, July 23, 2024.

John Rylee was born May 29, 2006, in Dalton, Georgia. He was a 2024 graduate of Murray County High School and was employed at Hardee's for the past two years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, April Marie Norwood Lynthlin, his grandparents, Shirley and Wally Lynthlin, and Jimmy and Cherly Norwood.

He is survived by his parents, Josh and Heather Lynthlin of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Shanda Collins of Oregon, Trinity Allen (Florian Rodriguez) of Kinston, NC, Sydney Rhinehardt and Raelyn Lynthlin both of Chatsworth, GA; grandparents, Rachel and Kim Williams of Chatsworth, GA, great-grandparents, Charles and Mary Cody of Dalton, GA; cousins, Colby Lynthlin, Nikoli Cervantes, Amber Jones; best friend, Matthew Morgan; uncles, Justin Lynthlin and Chad Williams, all of Chatsworth, GA: several other relatives.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. John Rylee Lynthlin will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Southers officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
