John Robert  Love, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 25,2021.

John was born in Dalton, Georgia on Nov. 7, 1943 to the late Lawson and Mary Katherine Love. John was preceded in death by his beautiful bride of over 50 years, Barbara Ann Love.

John loved his  family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. John worked for Shaw Industries for over forty years, and retired in 2009.

John is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Heather Love of Roswell; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Nick Griswell of Huntsville,Alabama;grandchildren, Olivia Love, Sam Love, Noah Griswell, Jonah Griswell, and Malia Griswell; two sisters, Mary Sisk, and JoAnn Cowell, as well as his  nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Saturday, February 27th from 10-1. A Celebration of Life Service, reserved for  family and close  friends, to immediately follow with the Reverend James Shope officiating. Interment will be at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Tony Love, Sam Love, Nick Griswell, Noah Griswell, Greg Cowell and Larry Baxter serving as honorary pallbearers.
