Mr. Jon Lawrence Findley, age 72, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life Friday March 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1945 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Frank and Rochelle Babb Findley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, Joe, Jerry, Roger, Frank, Dickey and Farris Findley. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines.

He is survived by his daughter, April Findley Collins, son, Jonny Findley both of Chatsworth, GA; grandson, Kyle Collins; great grandchild, Abel Collins; brothers, Jim Findley if Michigan, Tommy Findley of Columbus, GA; nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jon Lawrence Findley will be held Saturday March 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother George Cross officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
