Mr. John Ray Arbuckle, age 66, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, July 24, 2014 at his home. John was born September 16, 1947 in Mesa, Arizonia, a son of the late Kenneth Arbuckle and Lela Barnett Arbuckle. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jerry Arbuckle, sisters Beverly Haines and Barbara Arbuckle. He worked for Mohawk Industries.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda York Arbuckle; daughters, Angela Renee Payne & husband James Otis Payne of Kokomo, Indiana, step daughter Ina May Jordan of Corinth, Ms, step son Richard Seals, Corinth, Ms., brothers, Ronnie & wife Cindy Arbuckle of York, Pa., Jimmie & wife Loraine Arbuckle of Gosham Indiana, Kenny Jr. & wife Pat Arbuckle of Fort Payne Indiana, Larry & wife Gladys Arbuckle of Rochester, Indiana, Danny & wife Betty Arbuckle of Cohutta, Ga, Dick & wife Pam Arbuckle of Kokomo, Indiana; sisters Penny Peters of Kokomo, Indiana, Betty Arbuckle, of Peru, Indiana, Tara & husband Ron Sallee of Kokomo, Indiana; grandchildren, Cassanera Arbuckle, Alan Woods, Jeffrey Vogel, Levi Wilson and Shelby Jordan.

Services to celebrate the life of John Ray Arbuckle will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with American Legion Post 112 in charge of the graveside military rites and Reverend Paul Armstrong officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 9:00 a.m.until
