Mr. Joe Edward Glass Jr, age 65 of Cleveland, TN, departed this life Tuesday November 28, 2017. He was born September 1, 1952 in Sardis, Mississippi, a son of the late Joseph Glass Sr. and Ann Lee Coleman Tarpley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Diane Glass, brother, Mark Tarpley. He love to ride his motorcycle and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Glass and Allison Ferguson of Rossville, GA, James and Rhonda Thomas of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Breannah Glass, Emily Glass of Chickamauga, GA, Stephanie Parker of Tunnel Hill, GA, Katie Thomas, Kimberly Thomas of Dalton, GA; brother, Mike Tarpley of Ringgold, GA.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Joe Edward Glass Jr. will be held Thursday November 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend John Tudor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
