Jo Anna Higgins, age 80, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, May 20, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Jo Anna was born September 12, 1932 in Chattanooga, TN, a daughter of the late John and Hazel Green Scheidegger III. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Eugene Higgins.

She is survived by sons; Billy Higgins of Fairmount, GA, Steve Higgins of Calhoun, GA and David Higgins of Chattanooga, TN. Daughter, Karen Perry of Fairmount, GA. Jo Anna had seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

At the family's request there will be no services at this time.
