Mr. Jimmy C. Singleton, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia departed this life, Monday May 15, 2017 at the local hospital. Jimmy was born March 7, 1954 in Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Singleton, stepfather, Billy Williams. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Methodist Church and he was a member of the Praise Band.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Singleton of the residence; mother, Martha Williams of Macon, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Neisha and Brandon Brophy of Calhoun, GA, Stephanie and Tom Gable of Cypress, TX; mother-in-law, Dotha Dempsey of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Zach and Josh Gable of Cypress, TX, Caden, Bentley, Presley, Paxley and Paisley Brophy of Calhoun, GA; special nephew, P J and Jennie Poston of Crandall, GA; son, Sean Singleton of Rhode Island; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmy C. Singleton will be held Saturday June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mt. Vernon Methodist Church with Reverend Tac Coley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 3, 2017. The family would like to thank their church family and the Praise Band for all the support they have shown.
