Mr. Jimmy Coy Millsaps, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 13, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 22, 1951 in Ellijay, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Moss, Clara and Clyde Dean, sister Velma Millsaps.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Millsaps of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jennifer Millsaps of Michigan; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Grant of Dalton, GA, April and Jackie Mosteller of Ellijay, GA; children, Toney Bramblett, Lisa Bramblett of Michigan; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Buck Messer of Blue Ridge, GA, Wanda Centers of Texas; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Audrey and Dave Huffines, Jerry Jones of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Justin Grant, Josiah Grant, Cody Ponders, Logan Ponders, Chloe King, Sadee King, Larissa Millsaps; great grandchildren, Carleigh, Keira, Yaretzi, Memphis, Hermione; several nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
