Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Ross Hall, age 67, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, January 16, 2014 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was born August 12, 1947 in Walker County, Georgia, a son of the late Herman Alexander Hall and Estelle Campbell Hall. Jimmy was an auto mechanic by trade and worked many years at Scenic City Mazda. Jimmy was a member and deacon at North Whitfield Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill, Georgia.

Jimmy was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Mary Bryson, brothers, Richard, Tom and Johnny Hall and sisters, Betty Louise Crowe, Rachael Wheat and Jane Hall.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Patricia Ann Bryson Hall of the home; son, Dino Hall of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Hailey Hall, Braden Hall, Addison Hall, Emery Hall and Audrey Hall; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Barbara Hall of Villanow, GA, Ralph Hall of Chatsworth, GA ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Clifford Wheat of Crandall, GA, Margaret Ann and Donny Colbert of Tunnel Hill, GA, Lynn Hall of Chatsworth, GA, sister in law Linda Payne of Copperhill, TN, brother and sisiter-in-law Pete and Brenda Bryson of Ringgold, GA; very special friend, Jim Reed of Tunnel Hill, GA; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmy Ross Hall will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Tony Hyatt and Reverend Lillard Stringer officiating. He will be laid to rest at Gordy Memorial Gardens in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, with Greg Crider, Dewey Ashworth, Lamar Reynolds, Jamie Reynolds, David English and Matt Russell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
