Mr. Jimmy David Garrison, age 62, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life Friday January 8, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1958 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Robert Everett and Mary Wallace Garrison. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brandon Garrison. He was employed at Shaw Industries.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Teresa Garrison of the residence; daughter, Rebecca Garrison and Matthew Morris of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Butch and Glenda Garrison of Dalton, GA, Jeff and Joyce Garrison of Tunnel Hill, GA; sister, Robbie "Sally" Jones of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Anslee Garrison, Kaelyn Garrison of Chatsworth, GA.

Memorial service for Mr. Jimmy David Garrison will be held Thursday January 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Jeremiah Quarles and David Owens officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
