Mr. Jimmie Lee Cooper, age 70 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, November 18, 2015 at his residence. Jimmie was born September 1, 1945, in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Roy and Rossie Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Cooper, Larry Cooper.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Stacy Pellom of Dalton, GA; daughter, Lynn Bovor of Cohutta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, M.B. and Polly Cooper of Cohutta, GA; special cousin, Tex Gillan; two grandchildren.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmie Lee Cooper will be held Saturday November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jack Cornett and Reverend Ben Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
