Mr. Jesus Sotelo, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, October 26, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 17, 1951 in Mexico, a son of the late Santos and Maria Cruz Sotelo. He was preceded in death by his brother Jorge Sotelo.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Vicky" Sotelo of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Jesus and Jeanne Sotelo, Johnny Sotelo; daughter, Rocio Sotelo; brothers, Santos Sotelo Jr., Francisco Sotelo, Tony and Andrea Sotelo; sisters and brothers-in-law,  Emma and Carlos Sierra, Yolanda and Hilario Hurtado, Sarah Moss and Alex Lopez, Blanca and Robert Soto, Olivia and Victor Salazar, Marie and Dennis Hill, Oralia and Esteban Santamaria, Alma Sotelo; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Johnny Sotelo, Miguel Santamaria, Victor Salazar, Angel Lopez, Nathangel Lopez, O'Shea Hill, Pablo Rodriguez and Stefano Rodriguez serving as palbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
