Mr. Jessie Theron Young, age 35, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the local hospital. He was born September 3, 1986 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father Jessie Dale Young.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Young of the residence; children, Jason Young of Shephard, TX, Lisa Young, Jordan Young of Calhoun, GA; mother, Donna Young of Plainville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Shane Muse of Pigeon Forge, TN, Sandra and Walt Williams of Sevierville, TN, Brandy Levan of Chattanooga, TN, Beth Hullender of Ringgold, GA, Leah and Erin Tidwell of Calhoun, GA, Julianna Young, Alicia Dela Cruz of Plainville, GA, Rebecca Young, Cheyenne Young of Marianna, FL; special friends, Heathe Hudgins of Chatsworth, GA, Darrel Bradshaw of Calhoun, GA; many other family and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jessie Theron Young will be held Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Pastor Jeremiah Quarles officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow in the Old Fashion Baptist Church Cemetery.
