Mr. Jesse Lee "Wayne" Loftis Jr., age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the local hospital. Wayne was born May 23, 1937 in Cleveland, TN, a son of the late Jesse Lee Loftis Sr. and Oconee Viola Pruitt Loftis. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Dewanna Loftis, brother, Gene Autry Loftis.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Jean Loftis of the residence; son, Tracy Scott Loftis of Benton, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Terry Swelling of Rocky Face, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill Loftis of Cleveland, TN, Jerry and Jean Loftis of Covington, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Inez and Glenn Lawson Sr. of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ashlee and Steve Zahn, Mark Swelling, Tracy Loftis; nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.
