Jess Payne Jr.

Jess Payne Jr. age 86 of Dalton, passed away at his residence on Monday Sept. 21, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gena Payne; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kim Payne of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Payne and fiancé Lindsey Sherrill of Dalton, Chad and Emily Keeter of Knoxville, TN; great grandson, Caleb Keeter; sisters and brother-in-laws, Jewel Hunter, Robert and Polly Dilbeck, Melvin and Teresa Dills, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Payne will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will hold a private memorial service to honor Mr. Payne.
