Mr. Jerry Roland Wynn, age 61, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening, March 24, 2014 at the local hospital. Jerry was born August 26, 1952 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Charles Roland and Fannie Pauline Sisson Wynn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Callahan and A.L. Buddy Callahan.

He is survived by his wife of forty one years, Jane Wynn of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Chris Wynn of Rocky Face, GA, Gregg and Julie Wynn of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Jackie Lowe of Rocky Face, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Emmie Jewel Callahan of Talapoosa, AL; sisters, Frances Walden and Leona Ridley of Dalton, GA; special nephew, Anthony Callahan; grandchildren, Alex Lowe, Becca Lowe, Breana Wynn, David McDonald, Chastity Akisson, Brooke Carroll, Bethany Powell.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Roland Wynn will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Robert Beavers and Reverend Hugh Burdette officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Alex Lowe, Jimmy Bethune, Mike Holcomb, Ben Jones, Darren Shepard, and Anthony Callahan serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
