Jerry Wayne Taylor, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Born in Winston-Salem, NC, he was a decorated Vietnam War veteran and a member of SEAL Team Two. He retired from teaching after 33 years at Red Bank High School. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Dr. Patricia Taylor. He is survived by his son, Thomas Taylor; daughter-in-law, Heather Taylor; and five grandchildren, Jonas, Brock, Eli, Gwenyth, and Lincoln. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, December 12, 2025
