Mr. Jerry Lynn Rhodes, 62, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life early Monday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 29, 1955 in Blue Ridge, GA a son of the late Leonard Franklin and Frankie Mae Green Rhodes.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lumpkin Rhodes of the residence; son, Jerry Rhodes Jr. of Cumming, GA; stepsons, David Lynn Brown II and Mary Brown, Larry Jay and Katelyn McAtee of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Terry Rhodes of Calhoun, GA, Kerry and Heather Rhodes of Griffin, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma Jean and Darrell Johnson of Griffin, GA, Brenda Abercrumbie and Gene Collie of Blairsville, GA, Joann Rice of LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family.
