Mr. Jerry Lee Donaldson, 62, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life early Friday morning, March 29, 2019 in Humble, Texas, from injuries sustained in an accident.

Mr. Donaldson was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on January 14, 1957.  He was a son of the late James Barron Donaldson and Nancy Ruth Southworth Knight.  Along with his parents he was also preceded in death two brothers, Johnny Donaldson and Joseph Donaldson; and a sister, Josephine Donaldson.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jessie Young of Calhoun, Georgia; brother, James "Jimbo" Donaldson of Mooresville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, and Jordan Decker; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Lee Donaldson will be held Friday April 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bruce McMillian and Reverend Melvin Burse officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Jeremy McMillian, Jason Decker, Jamie Forbes, James Patton, Adam Norman and Bobby Blevins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
