Mr. Jerry Gibson, age 75, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 5, 1948 in Ellijay, Georgia, a son of the late William Leonard and Addie Lola Brewer Gibson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Hall, Katherine Holland and Joyce Gibson, brother, Grady Gibson, Virgil Gibson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from The Murray County Schools as a teacher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Charlotte Ann Hall Gibson of the residence; son, Eddie Gibson; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Terry Martin; grandson, Dyer Martin all of Chatsworth, GA;  sister, Anna Ruth Langham of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, William "Buddy" and Irene Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Waymond and Martha Gibson of Dalton, GA, Ronnie and Loretta Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Audrey Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Barbara Gibson; several nieces and nephews.

At his request no service will be held at this time.
