Mr. Jerry Erman Delpaz, age 74, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Sunday January 29, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his bedside. Jerry was born December 4, 1942 in Montrose, Colorado, a son of the late Erman John and Minnie Ann Delpaz. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joanna Delpaz, son, Shane Armstrong. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post 112.

He is survived by his children, Sheri Delpaz, Treasa and Geert Coone of Dalton, GA, Bobby and Tracy Millwood of the Tilton Community, Elaine Barton of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Shawn Holland, Jonathan and Jessica Holland, Justin and Amanda Payton, Colby Bates, Nathanial Barton, Miranda Barton; nieces, Teresa and CW McClain of Alabama, Debbie and Ray Roy of Dalton, GA; 18 great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Erman Delpaz will be held Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Eddie Killion officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with the American Legion Post 112 in charge of military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
