Mr. Jerry Botts, age 64, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning, December 31, 2022, at his home. Jerry was born July 30, 1958, in Campbell County, Tennessee, a son of the late Bernard and Lily Ruth Presley Botts. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bernadene Botts Lawson, brothers, Steven Botts and Bernard Michael Botts,  niece, Misty Lane Strunk, nephew, Carrie Botts, grandparents, John and Viola Duncan Botts, and Paul and Mary Jane Presley.

He is survived by his long time companion, Leona Mullins of the residence; daughter, Rosetta Botts Watts; grandson, Zachary Watts; granddaughter, Skyler Watts; great-grandson, Adam Watts all of Oneida, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Curt Boshears of Fairview, TN, Loretta and Rick Pippin of Cohutta, GA, Benton Lawson of Norma, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Mildred Botts of Fairview, TN, Gary Botts, Paul and Tina Botts all of Helenwood, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Robert Wells of Calhoun, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Edie Brownlee of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Botts will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Levoyd Whitton officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum with his nephews, Paul Botts, Preston Botts, Stephen Botts, Nicholas Botts, David Scoggins and Dustin Scoggins are honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
