Mr. Jeremy David McCoy, age 35, of Tunnel Hill, GA, departed this life, Saturday February 6, 2016 at his residence. Jeremy was born September 17, 1980 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald Lee and Lucy Annette Peters, John David Sr. and Margaret Sybil McCoy, uncle, Ricky Peters, cousins, Misty Peters, Russell Peters.

He is survived by his parents, John David "Mac" Jr. and Rhonda Kay Peters McCoy; grandpa, David Leonard; uncles and aunts, Terry and Herbie Peters, Stevie Peters, Gloria Campbell, Richie Campbell, Bradley McCoy, Cheryl McCoy, Rebecca and Tim Jones; great uncle, Frank Planzer Jr.; cousins, Rich Campbell, Andrew Cudd, Courtney Dougharty, Amanda Jarvis, Whitney McDonald, Zachary Peters.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jeremy David McCoy will be held Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Stan Lestor officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Jonathan Callahan, Logan Callahan, Rene' Dickson, Burton Knighton, Zachary Peters, Todd McNelley and Jason Planzer serving as pallbearers. Lance Callahan will serve as a honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
