Mrs. Jennifer Rebecca "Jenny" Rogers, age 39, of the Varnell Community, in Whitfield County, Georgia, departed this life, April 19, 2019 at her home with her family at her side.  Jenny was born November 11, 1979 in Dalton, Georgia.  Jenny was a 1998 graduate of Northwest High School and worked many years as a teller at BB & T Bank.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Coker and grandparents, Lewis Hicks, Frances Serritt, Roy and Katherine Coker and her mother-in-law, Reathel Land.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Rogers, and would have celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary, July 17, 2019; son, Matthew Tanner "Matt" Rogers; daughter, Kaylee Rebecca Rogers all of the residence; mother, Kay Coker of Rocky Face, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Coker, Chris and Jennifer Coker all of Dalton, GA, David Andrew "Andy" and Jessica Coker; step-grandfather, Jack Serritt all of Rocky Face, GA; father-in-law, Doyle Rogers of Chatsworth, GA; nephews, Ethan Coker, Caden Coker, Connor Coker and Drew Coker; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jennifer Rebecca "Jenny" Rogers will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Cecil Williams and Reverend Tony Hyatt officiating. She will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Derek Hicks, Ethan Coker, Ryan Goins, Rusty Jones, Preston Cronan and Caden Coker honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 11:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
