Mrs. Jennifer Gail Newport Newberry age 43 of Dalton, Georgia, went to be with the Lord, Sunday September 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 16, 1976 in Dalton, GA. She was a 1995 graduate of Southeast High School. She fought a long hard battle with breast cancer. She was the definition of a true survivor. She was a brave wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Jennifer leaves behind a husband, Darrell Newberry, a daughter, Tiffany Newberry, two sons, Austin Newberry, Hayden Newberry, her parents, Donald and Alma Newport, sister, Felicia Jackson, three nephews, Logan, Conner and Caleb Jackson all of Dalton, GA, father-in-law, Bruce "Butch" and Easter Newberry, mother-in-law, Betty "Penny" Headrick, sister-in-law, Shelia Chastain, special aunt, Oma Morgan, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be greatly missed. She will be gone but never forgotten.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jennifer Gail Newport Newberry will be held Wednesday September 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Whitfield Baptist Church with Wayne Cofield and Lamar Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
