Mrs. Jenell Mae Kinsey, age 71 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, April 18, 2018 at her home after a brave 16 month battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer.
She was born August 22, 1946 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late Garland and Ollie Jenkins Patton. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jess, John, and Garland Patton Jr., sister, Jeaneatty Sue Kinsey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ben Kinsey of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Scott Stamey of Chatsworth, GA, Beth and Chris Morgan of Varnell, GA; brother, Joe Patton of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan Davis, Judy and Buck Painter, Jane and Harold Ellis of Dalton, GA, Jedessa and William Patterson, Ann and JR Bennett of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Amber Morgan, Ashlynn Morgan, Savannah Morgan; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jenell Mae Kinsey will be held Saturday April 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Charlie Bridges officiating. She will be laid to rest at the United Memorial Gardens with Josh Kinsey, Justin Davenport, Donnie Dunn, Craig Dunn, Jeremey Davis, Shawn Davis and Shaw Scott serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
