Mr. Jeffery Harold Edwards, age 56, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Wednesday October 9, 2019 at the local hospital. He was born March 16, 1963 in Ringgold, GA, the son of the late Clinton Edwards and Earsie Smith Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Edwards and Darrell Edwards; sisters, Betty Ruth Edwards Bigham.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Carrie Edwards of Cohutta, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Marcus and Kaye Edwards, James Edwards; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Turner and Harold Palmer, Marie and William Head, Sherry McKinney all of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Jeffery Harold Edward will be held Saturday October 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Allen Bunch officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ponders Colonial Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Nathan Huggins, Kenneth Drain, Matthew Turner and Anthony Silvers serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday October 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
