Jeannie Marie Wade, 36, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life suddenly, Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Calhoun.

Marie was born in Cartersville, Georgia on December 17, 1982.  She is a daughter of David Charles Wade and Betty Jean Roberts Mauldin both of Calhoun.  Marie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Earl Roberts and Turkey Wade; grandmother, Adar Wade; aunt, Mary Ann Roberts; and a cousin, Dustin Reed.

She is survived by her daughter and fiancée, Taylor Johnson and Matthew Tapp of Calhoun; sons, Dylan Johnson and fiancée Chailyn Johnston, and Romin Seritt; grandchildren, Callum Beck Johnson and Xander Byron Tapp; sister, Juanita Chappell; grandmother, Juanita Roberts; aunts and uncles, Mike Roberts, Barbara Reed, Anita and Ronnie Scheetz; nieces, Olivia Chappell, Makenzie Chappell, and Allie Chappell; special friend, Brandi Holcomb Chastain , all of Calhoun, Georgia; several cousins and other friends also survive.

A service to celebrate the life of Jeannie Marie Wade will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Clyde McEntyre officiating.  Marie will be laid to rest at the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in the Red Bud community with Christopher Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Matthew Tapp, Nicholas Chappell, Michael Roberts, and Perry Seritt serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2019 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
