Michael Jay Zuckerman, age 42 of Chattanooga, Tennessee, departed this life on Thursday January 29, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Jay was born November 11, 1983, in Chattanooga TN. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Dr. Joe and Sylvia Zuckerman and maternal grandparents Jake and Sylvia Green.

In a world that often settles for gray areas, Jay thought deeply about justice, lived honestly, and chose kindness. He experienced and understood the world in his own profound way, bringing depth and authenticity to everything he encountered. He held himself and the world to higher standards of fairness and truth. Jay was inquisitive and always searching for answers that made sense to him. Those who loved Jay learned to appreciate the depth beneath every conversation. He didn't engage in small talk; he dove into ideas with the intensity of someone who genuinely wanted to understand. Jay sought guidance and help from his trusted advisors when he was unable to find answers himself and was always ready with a thank you. He loved his parents deeply with all his heart and this unconditional love was returned by his parents. Jay was a unique treasure to this world, and he will be truly missed by those who knew him.
