Mr. Javier Barrios Flores, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2021 at the local hospital. He was born September 2, 1947 in Mexico, a son of the late Jesus Barrios and Maria De La Paz Flores. He was also preceded in death by his Jesus Barrios, brother, Jesus Barrios, sister, Irma Barrios.

He is survived by his wife, Maria D. Barrios of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Edgar Barrios, Javier and Chastey Barrios of Dalton, GA; daughter, Regina Barrios of Greensboro, NC; granddaughter, Amelia Barrios of Dalton, GA; sisters, Yolanda Barrios, Elsa Barrios, Maria De LA Luz Barrios all of Mexico.

A private family service will be held Thursday September 30, 2021 from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

The family request everyone wear a mask at the visitation.
