Mr. Jason Erik Jeffers, age 28 of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life Monday afternoon, November 3, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center. Jason was born May 18, 1986 in Dalton, Georgia. He was a graduate of Rhea County High School. He liked to hunt and fish but most of all he loved spending time with his family and playing with his children.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Jeffers; children, Kailyn Jeffers, Easton Jeffers, and Jaxson Erik Jeffers, whom will bless our hearts on November 25, 2014, all of Chatsworth, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alfred and Melody Jeffers of Dalton, GA. He is survived by his father, Ronald Jeffers of Graysville, TN; mother, Brenda Jeffers of Dalton, GA; grandparents, N.J. and Betty Corbin, mother & father in-law, Teresa Amos and Robert Amos all of Dalton, GA. half brothers John Jeffers of Blairsville, GA and Josh Fowler of Chatsworth, GA. Special brother-in-law, Gary Penland and Tim Amos both of Dalton, GA. Sister-in-law, Tonya (Eric) Newton of Dalton, GA.; Aunts,Nancy(Greg)Fowler, Sam(Jerry)Young, Charlie(Larry)Tripp, Judith(Richard)Goins, Phyllis(Jim)York; uncles, Steve(Beth)Jeffers, Wayne(Rhonda)Jeffers, Gary(Elaine)Jeffers; special cousin, Ryan(Amy)Fowler, Sydney(Jason) Thomason, George Tate and Amber Young; nephews Eli Newton, Logan Jeffers; nieces, Breanna Newton, Ruthee Jeffers and Gracee Jeffers,.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jason Erik Jeffers will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey and Robert Beavers officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Gary Penland, Ryan Fowler, Greg Fowler, Jerry Young, Blake Kennedy, Eric Newton, and Kevin Morris, Robert Pilkingpon serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
