Mr. Jarrod Lamar Holden, age 31, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, in Albany, Georgia.

Jarrod was born on January 27, 1995, in Calhoun, Georgia. To know Jarrod was to know a truly special soul. He was good as gold, with a heart as big as his smile and a spirit that could light up a room. Jarrod had the heart of a lion—strong, courageous, and full of love. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without ever expecting anything in return.

Jarrod was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joann Pitts, Bruce and Brenda Gilbert, and Reynold Jackson Nasworth Sr.; aunt, Evelyn Brooks; uncles, Roger Jr. and Randy Gilbert, Reynold Jackson Nasworth Jr., and Earl Nasworth; and nieces and nephew, Madeline Fleetwood, Jazmine Stone, and Malachi Holden.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Jarrod is survived by his parents, Timmie Holden and Susan Holden; step-parents, Terri Morales and Robert Duarte Jr.; sisters, Tiffany, Tonya, and Allison Holden, Taylor Barton, and Tamara Stone; nieces and nephews, Darrius, Keriana, Isabella Stone, Natalie Richards, Antwon Fleetwood Jr., Tiana Fleetwood, Adalena, Isaiah, Harper, and Johanna Holden.

He is also survived by his cousins, Summer (Special), Robert, Heaven, Dustin, Brooklyn, Cooper, and Little Bruce Gilbert, Bryson and Brodee McCoy; uncles, Gary and Jimmy Gilbert; aunts, Pamela Gilbert, Ann Gravitt, Teresa Bunch, and Rosemary Willis; special friends, Ariel Holden Gravitt, Pamela Goodwin, and Johnny Hunter; along with many other family members and friends who loved Jarrod and will miss him dearly.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Jarrod's love will remain with us. He will live on in every story told, every memory shared, every laugh remembered, and in the hearts of everyone whose life he touched. Jarrod may no longer be here for us to hold, but he will forever be held in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour.
