Mrs. Janice Diane Stewart, age 67, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 15, 1947 in Jacksonville, Alabama, a daughter of the late Ollie Mac and Cora Treece Dudley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Bud" David Stewart Sr., daughter, Veronica Stewart, grandson, Reggie Redd.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Freda Stewart, Charles Jr. and Tina Stewart of Resaca, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Candace and Terry Green of Dalton, GA, Tonya and Tony Hunter of Plainville, GA, Rhonda and Jimmy Edge of Resaca, GA, Krista Stewart of Dalton, GA; brother, Alton Dudley of Brillant, AL; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Bonds, Sue and John Lipham, Lula Melone all of Anniston, AL; fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Janice Diane Stewart will be held Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Gary Garrett and Reverend Alfred Freeman officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Haven of Rest Cemetery with Chad Green, Chase Green, Billy Redd Jr., Dustin Stewart, Charles Stewart III, and Labranson Griffin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
