Mr. James Tyler Smith, age 32, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday morning, February 23, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1992, in West Plains Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Roberta Parnell, Joann Smith and daughter Delaine Smith.

He is survived by his parents Richard (Robin) Smith of Tunnel Hill GA; Grandfather Kenneth Smith, son Andrew Smith and mother of his children Kelsie (Brody) Purkey of Dalton GA; Brothers Jeffery Smith, and Joshua (Amanda) Parnell of Tunnell Hill GA; sister Jennifer Smith of Dallas Texas. Many more family members, cousins, and friends also survive.

At his request the family will have a private memorial at a later date.
