Mr. James "Bryan" Petitt, age 82, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1939 in Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Petitt, father, Frank Petitt, mother, Mary Carzell Black, sister, Ruth Chambers.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Petitt Hammonds of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Christina and Dennis James of Chattanooga, TN, Daniel Serritt of Calhoun, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. James "Bryan" Petitt will be held Wednesday January 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Dale Guy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at the Haven of Rest Cemetery.
