Mr. James Lewis Kilgore, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Tuesday, morning October 12, 2021 in Trenton, Georgia. He was born December 9, 1960 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Kilgore, grandparents, Sarah Smith, Arvil and Gladdis Kilgore, Daniel Morrow, son-in-law, Jonothan Barnette.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Lewis Kilgore will be held Monday October 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Tony Sims Officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. He will be laid to rest at the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Charles Gaylor, Jonathan Scott, Donny Manis, BJ Dunagan, Dustin Ingram and David Bennett serving as pallbearers.
