Mr. James "Ted" Theodore Howard Jr., age 73, of Rome, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Riverwood Senior Living Retirement Community in Rome, Georgia. He was born January 14, 1951 in Canton, Georgia, a son of the late James Theodore Howard Sr. and Maude Taberiaux Howard. He was also preceded in death by his wife Teresa Watts Howard. He proudly served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deirdra and Wayne Wylie of Rome, GA.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday July 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. from the Johnson Cemetery with Denny Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at the Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
