Mr. James Harrison Dryman, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday, August 5, 2016 at the local hospital. James was born April 17, 1949 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late James and Ida Mae Dryman. He was also preceded in death by his wife Connie D. Dryman.

He is survived by his; son, Jason Dryman of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Donny Holcomb of Tunnel Hill, GA; brother, Gary Dryman, sister and brother-in-law, Larry and Phyllis Ensley all of Dalton, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Kathy Baggett grandchildren, Matthew Morgan, Megan Morgan, Katelyn Holcomb, Sierra Holcomb, Wyatt Holcomb, Jarod Holcomb, Jada Holcomb, Hunter Dryman, Aiden Dryman; great grandchild, Leigh Hobbs; nieces and nephews, Larry and Linda Baggett of Tennessee, Anthony and Christine Baggett, Lacey and Matthew Nicholson of Dalton, GA.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Harrison Dryman will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Junior Clayton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the United Memorial Gardens with Donny Holcomb, Gary Dryman, Matthew Nicholson, Matthew Morgan, Hunter Dryman, and Larry Ensley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday.
