Mr. James Paul Dixon 76 departed this life Friday June 7, 2019 at the Chatsworth Health Care. He was born January 19, 1943 in Bradley County, TN, a son of the late Delmer and Jeanette Manning Dixon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Quinton Dixon, daughter, Linda Borden, brother, Harold Dixon.

He is survived by his children, Greg Dixon, Sandra Dixon of Dalton, GA, Lisa and Curtis Lynn of Cleveland, TN, Nichole Sanchez of Dalton, GA, Phillip and Kim Fox of Dalton GA, Christopher Willis Dalton, GA: 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Paul Dixon will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel.  Interment will follow at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M.

on Monday, June 10, 2019, and after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday until the time of the service.
