Mr. James E. Dillon, age 48, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Monday afternoon, December 2, 2013 at the local hospital. James was born September 4, 1965 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

He is survived by his parents, Hubert Earl and Mary Jane Logan Dillon of Ducktown, TN; his companion, Karen Cline Calhoun of Dalton, GA; son, Evan Dillon of Dalton, GA; daughters, Carrie Dillon of Huntsville, AL, Alicia Dillon of Ohio, Angle Dillon Taylor of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Michael Ross of Cleveland, TN, Patricia and Carl Miracle of Chattanooga, TN; grandson, Ivan.

Services to celebrate the life of James Earl Dillon will be held Saturday December 7, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. Noon from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Marty Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Chris Ballew, Vaughn Edwards, Curtis Edwards, Robbie Brown, K.C. Chambers and Michael Rittenhouse serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday.
