Mr. James Lamar Cochran, age 74 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Saturday November 20, 2021 at his home. He was born March 3, 1947 in Summerville, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Cochran Patton, his brothers, Wayne, Donnie, Troy, Danny, Charles Patton Jr, David and Bobbie Patton.

He is survived by his sister, Renee Chartrand of Tunnel Hill, GA; brother, Kaiser Patton of Dalton, GA; sisters-in-law, Mary Patton, Darlene Patton Hatmaker; nieces and nephews; special friends Susie Bouhaouli of Chattanooga, TN, Chris Wynn of Rocky Face, GA.

Service will be held Thursday December 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Chris Wynn, Bobby Millwood, Casey Martin aka 9 fingers, Spenser Chartrand, Mandy Patton, Kaiser Patton, Lamar Cochran and Roy Cochran serving as pallbearers.
