Mr. James Luther Cargal, age 64, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday November 5, 2013 at his home. James was born October 2, 1949 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Wilson and Mildred Weeks Cargal.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Craig Smith, grandchildren, Mason Smith, Sarah Smith, Zachery Smith of Calhoun, GA; uncle, Lloyd Cargal of Powder Springs, GA; stepmother, Connie Cargal of Dalton, GA.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Luther Cargal will be held Saturday November 9, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with George Cross officiating. He will be laid to rest at the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
