Mr. James A. Burns, age 71, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life, Saturday January 13, 2018 at the Chatsworth Health Care. James was born April 13, 1946, in Dalton, GA, the son of the late Max Burns and Ruby Mae Higgins White. He was also preceded in death by his brother Cecil, Jerry and Richard White.

He is survived by his sisters, Doris Burns, Tommie Wright, Clara Welch; special great niece, Haylie Welch all of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

At James's request he will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date at the White Cemetery.
