Mr. James Wallace Arnold, age 85, of the Dawnville community in Whitfield County, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday October 20, 2019. He was born August 3, 1934 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late William Bill and Emma Arnold. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Louise Arnold, sister, Doris Carter. He was a bus driver and custodian at Dawnville Elementary School for 40 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Louise Arnold of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Angela Arnold of Chatsworth, GA, Gene and Tina Arnold of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Dee and Mitch McMahan of Tunnel Hill, GA, Martha and Lennis Warnix of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Arnold, Doyle and Reba Arnold of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Louise Moore of Chatsworth, GA, Lorene Kinnamon of Dalton, GA; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Wallace Arnold will be held Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Lamar Beason officiating. Interment will follow in the Dawnville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
