Mr. James Allen Lawless age 59 and Mrs. Brenda K. Lawless, age 60, of Chatsworth, GA. James departed this life Monday April 5, 2021 and Brenda departed this life, Thursday, April 08, 2021. James was born June 17, 1961 in Dalton, GA a son of the late James and Magaline Hunter Lawless. Brenda was born November 24, 1960 in Vero Beach, FL a daughter of the late J.F. and Susan Patterson Allen.

They are survived by their children, Melessa Marie Lawless of Chatsworth, GA, Scotty Dewayne Lawless of Dalton, GA, Jacob James Lawless of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Chloe Lawless, Shelia Lawless; his brothers, Joe and Elizabeth Lawless, Sammy Lawless; his sister, Deborah Elaine and Wayne Sosebee; her brothers, David and Lena Allen, Charles Allen, Earl Allen, Ricky Allen; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Allen Lawless and Mrs. Brenda K. Lawless will be held Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Due to the national health crisis and the Covid – 19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
