Mrs. Jacqueline Lee Drain, age 62, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her home. Jacqueline was born February 5, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Melvin Thomas and Phyllis Denhard Blalock. She worked for Hamilton Home Health.

She is survived by her husband of forty two years, Paul Drain of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Keith Drain of Chatsworth, GA, Kenneth and Lisa Drain of Dalton, GA; daughters, Valerie Drain of Chatsworth, GA, Ashley Sewell of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Judy Blalock of Spring Hill, TN, Edward and Dianne Blalock of Brighton, MI, James Blalock of Wayne, MI; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Roger Rhodarmer of Harrison, MI, Janette and Fred Perry of Wayne, MI; grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, and Curtis Drain; great grandchildren, Reyna and Isaac Mateo; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jacqueline Lee Drain will be held Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Allen Bunch and Reverend Keith Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

A memorial service will be held Sunday August 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel, 138 Melrose Drive, Dalton, Georgia.
